Before we head our train to the Disney world attractions, let's give you guys some info about the creator of this wonderland. Walter Elias Disney, brought into this world by a stork on 5th December 1901 in Chicago, Illinois, USA, is the one we know, as a founder of Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Remember Mickey Mouse? Well, who doesn't! This fictional mouse character came into life from the magical hands of Walt Disney, who also imparted his voice to him.

Right from his early years, Walt nurtured his love for drawing. In fact, he also sold some of his sketches to his neighbors when he was only seven years old. After spending his academic years in McKinley High School in Chicago and at the Academy of Fine Arts, Walt was sent overseas when he was enlisted for the Red Cross. There, he was on the duty of driving an ambulance and chauffeuring Red Cross officials. Even there, his love for sketching began to show its imprints in the form of cartoons and different types of sketches all over his ambulance. Thereafter, Walt returned to Kansas City and took up the career of an advertising cartoonist. It was here, where he marketed his first original animated cartoons. And from then onwards, step by step, Walt kept on treading the miles of success and glory. Disneyland saw its launch in 1955 and the Walt Disney World opened to the public as scheduled on October 1, 1971.

The description of the success and milestones which this great legend has accomplished in his life, will always fall short of words. Disney's accomplishments are like the horizon which is far from the binds of distance and time.
