Booking train travel from Ljubljana to Zagreb couldn't be any simpler. The 2 to 3 hour ride takes you up through the mountains and down through the farmlands along the Sava River. The views out the window should be worth capturing on film. This train ride is by far the least expensive way to get from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia to Zagreb, the Capital of Croatia. One-way tickets are generally below 20 Euros. Not bad to get from one country to another!
