Installing the Travel Guide

Purchase the Garmin Europe Travel Guide directly from the Garmin website, or from another retailer. The guide software comes as a Secure Digital (SD) memory card.
2Turn on your Garmin GPS device and wait for it to load completely. When the menu screen appears, insert the SD memory card into the card slot on the side of the device.
3Choose "Install" once the prompt to load the software appears. This will copy the guide onto the internal memory of the GPS.
4Launch the newly installed program from the main menu. Depending on your GPS model, this may be listed under "Add Ons." The Europe guide will open for use.
