Call (888) 382-RAIL (382-7245) to book your rail tickets, or visit the Rail Europe Web site (see the Resources section below). Choose between a single destination pass, or one for multiple destinations. The latter may be less expensive than point-to-point tickets if you plan to take several trains.

Select a class of service. First-class amenities usually include your choice of seats, a meal, drinks, newspapers and audio/visual options.

Purchase seats at the Lisbon station if you don't have time to buy a pass before leaving America, but expect to pay a surcharge when you do. Additional charges are added on any train that requires a reservation.
