    Leave Sweden from Stockholm or Malmo. All trains to Denmark from Sweden go through Malmo, however not all trains in Sweden go to Malmo. Wherever you are in Sweden, first book a trip to Stockholm to ease your travel.

    Choose Copenhagen as your destination in Denmark when booking tickets. Not only is Copenhagen the largest city in Denmark, it is the terminus for all trains from Sweden. Trains leaving Malmo cross the Oresund Strait and arrive in Copenhagen via the longest road and rail bridge in Europe.

    Provide more options for by departing from Stockholm, Sweden. Going through Stockholm allows more departure times than other Swedish cities. For example, there is only one train from Gothenburg to Malmo each day departing at 6:55 a.m. and there are no trains available on Saturdays.

    Use train timetables to help plan your trip. Trains depart Stockholm from 7:20 a.m. to 6:25 p.m. weekdays and from 8:20 a.m. to 6:25 p.m. on weekends. The trip takes approximately 5 hours, including the stop in Malmo.
