The sights, sounds and tastes of a new place can create feelings of happiness in many people, and most travelers take pictures during their trips, while others collect brochures and trinkets. Capture sights and sounds in a new way by creating a travel brochure.

Instructions

    1

Choose the materials to include in the travel brochure. Select photographs that tell a story or that you can write a story about. Include a time line, history or other tidbits of information that you want to remember from the trip.

    2

Sketch the preferred layout of the travel brochure. Use a piece of cardstock paper and fold it so that it has three vertical sections. Draw where you want text and pictures.

    3

Use computer software to help design and create the travel brochure. Most word-processor programs have a brochure template that you can use. Search computer and electronic stores for other software you can use for making a travel brochure.

    4

Print the travel brochure using a laser-jet printer or other high-quality printer. Use high-quality paper such as cardstock.

    5

Protect the travel brochure from wear and tear. Laminate the brochure. You'll find lamination services at office-supply stores.

    6

Share the brochure with friends and family. The travel brochure, once laminated, could make a great gift especially if it has family pictures with it.
