How to Get Stains Off a Travel Trailer

For many, a travel trailer is a second home that allows a family to travel throughout the summer. After miles of traveling and nights of camping, the trailer can become covered with stains. These stains can be caused by dirt, bird droppings and other things. Removing these stains from the outside of the travel trailer can be accomplished with cleaning products available at hardware or home improvement stores.

Instructions

    1

Spray the stain with nonstick cooking spray. Allow the cooking oil to remain for 10 to 15 minutes. This will loosen the stain and prepare it for removal.

    2

Wash the stain with soapy water and an automotive sponge.

    3

Prepare a mixture of 2 tbsp. baking soda and 2 tbsp. water. Continue to add more baking soda until a thick paste forms.

    4

Apply a thick layer of the paste to any difficult stains with a damp automotive sponge.

    5

Allow the mixture to sit for five to 10 minutes before wiping it away with a damp cloth.

    6

Wash and wax the travel trailer as usual. Use a soap that is formulated for travel trailers and rinse it away well with cool water.
