Travel trailers are popular among many travelers, as they eliminate the cost of an expensive hotel room and give you a private space to enjoy. The siding of these travel trailers is typically made of an aluminum or vinyl material, both which are highly durable and easy to clean. The siding can quickly develop buildup from normal road debris, which requires a thoroughly cleaning from time to time to keep the trailer looking its best. A simple cleaning solution and a convenient cleaning tool will make this a simple procedure.

Instructions

    1

Rinse the entire trailer with a garden hose, which will quickly wash away things like dirt and road salt that can accumulate during travel.

    2

In a bucket, pour warm water and the amount of RV wash solution indicated on the container. This cleaner is available at any camping or RV supply store.

    3

Dip an RV siding brush into the cleaning solution, then scrub the siding. Scrub from top to bottom.

    4

After you've scrubbed an area about the size of 4 feet by 4 feet, rinse it with the garden hose. This will prevent the soap and scum from drying back onto the siding.
