World travel is something that many people say they would like to do, if they could afford it. However, there are ways that you can not only travel the globe but make money while you're doing it. If you have the proper determination and drive to work, and the abilities that are in demand, then you might be able to earn money in your faraway travels.
Instructions
- 1
Get a job that pays you to travel. This sounds hard, but really isn't. Sailors, international reporters, airline stewards, pilots and even soldiers are all sent all over the world for their job, and paid while going there.
2Get a job overseas. Just because you can get a good job in your backyard doesn't mean you can't get the same, or a better job, overseas. English speakers with some teaching ability can get hired in a variety of foreign countries to teach English, for instance. Wealthy couples may be willing to hire an American au pair to take care of their children. If you have a career and valuable skills, from tech support to engineering, chances are good that you can find a market for those skills in a foreign country.
3Find a job you can do from anywhere. Freelance writers who work through the Internet, for instance, can work wherever there's an Internet connection. Travel reviewers, too, can travel to exotic destinations, sometimes on someone else's bill, and then make money from their review of the location. If you have a job that will let you work from home, whether it's a computer consultant job or a voice actor for a web series, you can work on the go -- this includes in other countries.
